Rates
Rates are for two persons per room per day and include VAT, breakfast, free WIFI internet access, swimming pool, no local taxes. The rates indicated on our website are in euros. Local taxes amount to 3,60 € per person per night. Minimum stay of 2 nights (except exclusive riad: minimum stay of 2 nights).
Local taxes
The riads that have the status of guest houses must charge their guests:
– Tourist Promotion Tax (TPT): 11 Dirhams per person per night
– Municipal Tax (since January 2008):15 Dirhams per person per night
These taxes are returned to the Commune of Marrakech and the Moroccan National Tourist Office.
Booking Conditions (excluding the privatization of the riad)
– The reservation is guaranteed and becomes final upon receipt of a DEPOSIT of 50% of all nights booked.
– The deposit must be paid by credit card, our e-commerce system on the website or bank transfer at the time of booking within 5 days of the deposit request by email.
– After this 5-day period, RiadSerai reserves the right to re-rent the rooms and/or suites mentioned in the booking confirmation.
– The balance must be paid by wire transfer no later than one month prior to arrival.
– Payment for any extras will be made at check-out at the riad in cash (euros or dirhams) or by bank card.
– In the case of an online reservation, the deposit must be paid by credit card at the time of the online reservation.
– Each credit card payment will be increased by 3% (interbank fees and taxes).
– The local currency is the dirham. Credit card payments can only be made in dirham. Given the variation of the exchange rate, there is almost always a difference between our prices in euros and the price actually paid.
At RiadSerai, guests are not allowed to consume their own meals in the rooms or ‘food and beverages’ outside the rooms.
– NO SMOKING IN MY ROOMS
Cancellation Policy (except for the privatization of the riad)
– Cancellations must be communicated by email. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
– In case of cancellation, you may transfer all or part of your reservation to others. In case of transfer, in whole or in part, you will not receive a refund.
– The cancelled period cannot be recorded at any other time.
– Non-refundable amounts may not be transferred to others (e.g. as an advance for consumption or other expenses at RiadSerai).
Supplements
– Per child sleeping in parents’ room: 30 € per night (free for children under 2 years old, crib included)
– Per extra bed (from 10 years old): 60 € per night
Half board (DP)
– The DP must be confirmed at the time of booking or upon arrival at the riad (at check-in).
– The extra dinner costs 28€ per person (menu).
– It is only valid for the total duration of the stay; a meal not taken is not refundable.
– The DP consists of a starter, a main course and a dessert, to choose a la carte.
– The DP can be taken at dinner or lunch.
Privatization of the RiadSerai
– Privatization is only possible for a minimum stay of 2 nights.
– The number of persons accommodated may not exceed the maximum capacity of the raid, The daily flow is the total nights of each room and suite increased, and in addition to possible supplements as mentioned above.
– The reservation will be guaranteed and will be final upon receipt of payment for the full price of the stay within 8 days after the request for payment.
After this 8-day period, RiadSerai reserves the right to re-rent the rooms and suites.
– Payment for any extras will be made at check-out at the riad in cash (euros or dirhams) or by credit card.
– Credit card payments will be increased by 3% (interbank fees and taxes).
– The local currency is the dirham. Credit card payments can only be made in dirham. Given the variation of the exchange rate, there is almost always a difference between our prices in euros and the price actually paid.
– Changes in the number of persons after receipt of payment: less, no price adjustments, except for extra bed supplements; in addition, within the limits of the raid capacity, only extra beds will be charged extra at check-out.
– Riad O reserves the right to supplement the general conditions of sale with additional clauses depending on the nature of the privatization (seminars, marriage, etc.) in this case, a service contract will be drawn up between the two parties.
Cancellation policy at RiadSerai Privatization

Chek in
– Check in time is 14:00 on the day of arrival.
Check out
– Check out must be done before 11:30 on the day of departure. (Late check out can be arranged upon request and is subject to the arrival time of the following customers)
